Enoughie Buddy®’s Story
Once upon a time, Enoughie Buddy® was a tiny baby. But not just any baby! He was a unique little being, with a bright blue hue, a round body, and quirky antennae that wiggled around. He also had arms for hugging and dancing, legs for running and jumping, and an expressive face for smiles, tears, laughter and sighs.
Unlike others in his family, Enoughie® was adopted. Sometimes, he felt a tad out of place among the “Buddy” family. Worse, there were days on the playground that kids would point and giggle, making Enoughie® wonder if he’d ever truly fit in.
But then, a magical discovery!
Enoughie® realized that when he sat still, closed his eyes, and took deep, calming breaths, his wiggly antennae would start to tingle…and he could actually feel his emotions!
He could name them too: happiness, sorrow, excitement. This made a BIG difference to Enoughie®, who felt things all the time, but didn’t know how to express them. Sharing his emotions with his loving parents and even his teacher always helped him feel better. And over time, sharing got easier and easier.
What’s more, Enoughie® started to sense how others felt, too. With this power, he knew exactly when to offer a hug to a friend in need, or how to cheer up his teacher on a tough day. Soon, Enoughie® realized that being unique was his superpower.
And being different was exactly what made him so special!
